The next CSAE Trillium’s Young Professionals Event is on November 30th at the Thompson Toronto Hotel! We look forward to learning and building our network with you. There will be a panel speaking on Cross Generational Communications and of course lot’s of time to connect with others.
The Location
The event will be held at our Young Professional’s Event Sponsor – the Thompson Toronto Hotel. The Thompson Toronto is located at 550 Wellington Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 2V4.
Our networking event will take place in the Screening Room.
The Agenda
The November Young Professional’s Event will focus on Cross Generational Communications.
The event will start at 6:00 PM with networking, there will be a panel discussion from 6:30 to 7:30 and we will end the evening with more networking. The panel will include Sandra Herriot, from Riot Productions and Danielle Russell, from Association and Events Management. The Panel will be moderated by a young professional to ensure that the discussions are focused on what a young professional might want to know about communicating in a cross generational environment.
The Attendees
This event is open to all young professionals (YPs) regardless of whether you are a member of CSAE or not, you just need to be working in (or have an interest in) the association/not-for-profit sector. Young professionals, for the purposes of this group, are loosely defined as those 35 years of age or younger. It doesn’t matter where you are in terms of your career.
The YP networking group is about building networks of connections that will be there to support you throughout your career. Attendees will be from all levels (entry level right up to CSO) and across all departments (marketing, membership, HR, sales, etc.).
The Dress Code
Business casual or whatever you wore to work.
The Food
As the event is focused on professional development and networking there will not be a meal. There will be a cash bar should you wish to purchase an alcoholic beverage.
Registration
Registration for this event is complimentary but we do ask that you register in advance so that we can ensure there is room for everyone.
