Getting to Know Your Trillium Network Council — Don Leddy
CSAE’s Trillium Network Council represents members across our regional network. Get to know the volunteers who make up the 2022 Council in this ongoing segment. Each Council member was asked to answer questions about their professional and personal lives to share a little of themselves.
Don Leddy is a Senior Account Executive with Beanfield Centre and Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place. Connect with him on LinkedIn
When asked about his motivation to join the Council, Don stated:
Volunteering on council and elsewhere gives me understanding of some of the challenges Association Executives face. Knowing this sometimes offers me a bit of insight as to how I can help them better.
When asked what he wished all members knew about the Council, Don responded:
Council has your best interests at heart
Other than Council, Don is also involved on the following committees:
Membership, Summer Summit, PDX
When asked “what three words would your best friend use to describe you?”, Don had the following to say:
#%#$ @$&#!, trustworthy & funny.
When asked what he would do if he won the lottery, Don said:
Hello Air Canada, I’d like to book a trip…
When Don has 30 minutes of free time, he likes to:
Play guitar, play with the dog, or putter around the house fixing things.
When asked about the best OR worst piece of advice he had ever received, Don noted the following:
Somebody once told me that when taking a multiple choice exam and you don’t know the answer, choose C. I have no idea whether its good or bad advice, but it got me this far.
And one thing that people would be surprised to know about Don is:
I like pineapple on pizza.
Don has been a dedicated passionate volunteer with CSAE for many years and it has been a pleasure getting to know him a little better. We look forward to ‘introducing’ you to other members of the Trillium Network Council over the next issues of FORUM.
