Have you ever felt inadequate or had self-doubt despite obvious success? Admit it, we’ve all been there and cut ourselves short when we should be proud of our accomplishments and use them to exhibit confidence. Three experienced members will be joining us to discuss and share their advice about the topic. Speakers include:
- Danielle Russell, CAE, Executive Director, Air Cadet League of Canada, Ontario Provincial Committee
- Rebecca Harris, M.A., CAE, Executive Director from Ontario Association of Residences Treating Youth (OARTY)
- Katelyn Bernard, Association Sales Manager from Vintage Hotels
We invite you on Monday, November 25th, 2019 at 6pm to learn from these experts and engage in a topic we can all relate to. There will also be the opportunity to connect and network with these industry leaders and other young professionals. This event is open to all young professionals (YPs) regardless of whether you are a member of CSAE or not, you just need to be working in (or have an interest in) the association/not-for-profit sector. Young professionals, for the purpose of these events, are loosely defined as those 35 years of age or younger.
The YP networking group is about building networks of connections that will be there to support you throughout your career. Attendees will be from all levels (entry level right up to CSO) and across all departments (marketing, membership, HR, sales, etc.).
The Dress Code
Business casual or whatever you wore to work.
The Food
As the event is focused on professional development and networking, there will not be a meal. There will be some light food and beverages.
Registration
Registration for this event is complimentary but we do ask that you register in advance so that we can ensure there is room for everyone.
Remember – It’s not just what you know, but who you know that counts!! Continue to build your network with your Young Professional peers on November 25th.
