CSAE Trillium Chapter Scholarship Newsletter Thank you

Dear CSAE,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for selecting me as a recipient of the CSAE Trillium Chapter Scholarship. I am so humbled to have been chosen for this award knowing that there were many qualified applicants.

I have an interest and passion in the association sector because I think the services and benefits it provides to members are fundamental and valuable not just to each individual member but also to the community. As a recent graduate from Seneca College’s Non-Profit Leadership and Management I have come to understand the value that the associations sector can bring to the community in that the sector helps strengthen capacity both on the individual and organization level as well as build relationships and bridge the silos that tend to exist in the industry.

As a professional printmaking artist and recent Grants Officer at the Kingston Arts Council, a non-profit organization, I am excited by the opportunities that exist at the association level including education, networking, advocacy, information and research. While new to the association sector there are a number of associations that I am interested in joining either as a member or volunteer including Ontario Nonprofit Network, the Canadian Artists’ Representation/le Front des artistes canadiens, Ontario Association of Art Galleries, and the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

Thank again to the CSAE Trillium Chapter for your continuing to support and encourage higher education. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
SIGN
